<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmosphere monitor in a reactor containment vessel capable of switching and performing sampling measurement of hydrogen concentration and oxygen concentration in atmosphere in a reactor primary containment vessel and a reactor secondary containment vessel, and reducing volume of gas in the reactor primary containment vessel or the reactor secondary containment vessel discharged into the reactor secondary containment vessel or the reactor primary containment vessel respectively, when switching measurement points. <P>SOLUTION: The atmosphere monitor in the reactor containment vessel includes: piping 21, 22, 23 for sampling atmosphere in a reactor secondary containment vessel 14 and valves 31, 32, 33 for opening and closing the piping; and piping 41 for guiding nitrogen gas for calibration of a detector, into a sampling rack 19, and a valve 42 for opening and closing the piping. Sampling measurement of atmosphere in a reactor primary containment vessel 13 and atmosphere in the reactor secondary containment vessel 14 can be switched manually or automatically, and the atmosphere monitor has a function for automatically purging the inside of the sampling rack 19 by the nitrogen gas for the calibration when switching measurement points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
