<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a position change of the center of gravity as much as possible during cornering or braking of a vehicle to improve handling performance and stability of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine of which a compression ratio is variable such that a position of the center of gravity in the vehicle is vertically varied; an obtaining portion for obtaining at least one of lateral acceleration (lateral G) and forward acceleration of the vehicle; and a limitation portion for limiting variation width of a compression ratio ε within a predetermined range of ±β, while the at least one obtained by the obtaining portion exceeds a predetermined value of α, with respect to a compression ratio of ε0 at a time point of t0 where the at least one first exceeds the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
