<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storage device that can form an image on a label sheet that stores a wireless tag therein in a smaller space, and read and write a wireless tag; an image forming apparatus, a recording medium, and a wireless tag recording method. <P>SOLUTION: A recording medium storage device includes: a loading tray for loading a recording medium; a movable antenna that is arranged to cover at least a part of an upper surface of a recording medium loaded on the loading tray; a support part that is installed to the movable antenna, and displaces the movable antenna to follow an inclination of the upper surface of the recording medium; and a reader/writer that communicates with a wireless tag of the recording medium.
