<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving a display panel and a display apparatus for performing the same. <P>SOLUTION: During a first period, the method outputs a data voltage of three-dimensional (3D) image data including a left-eye data frame and a right-eye data frame to the display panel along a forward scanning direction. During a second period, the method blocks the output of the data voltage. During a third period that is shorter than the first period, the method outputs a black data voltage to the display panel. Therefore, the output of the data voltage to the display panel is blocked before the black data voltage is applied to the display panel, thereby maintaining the data voltage of the 3D image data provided before. During a maintaining period in which the data voltage of the 3D image data is maintained in the display panel, light is provided to the display panel, thereby improving the luminance of the 3D image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
