<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which does not degrade quality of data to be read from an optical disk and has high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical disk device which includes a semiconductor laser 1 for outputting blue-violet laser light, driving current supplying means 4 for driving the semiconductor laser 1, and high-frequency current superimposing means 5 for superimposing high-frequency current on a driving current supplied from the driving current supplying means 4, and reproduces data of an optical disk 10, the optical disk includes amplitude adjusting means 14 for adjusting an amplitude of a high-frequency to be applied to the semiconductor laser 1, and means for detecting the number of recording layers for detecting the number of recording layers of the optical disk 10 to be reproduced, and the amplitude adjusting means 14 adjusts the amplitude of the high-frequency to be applied to the semiconductor laser 1 on the basis of the detection number detected by the means for detecting the number of the recording layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
