摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that it is difficult to suppress the rise of temperature inside a battery in a conventional wound battery, while the battery dimension becomes large when a pipe or the like making a coolant flow therethrough is provided inside the battery, and furthermore it is difficult to achieve decrease in battery price since a conventional battery has a large amount of a negative electrode largely affecting the battery price. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode and a negative electrode are laminated on each other in the axial direction of a cylindrical exterior body, the outer diameter of one of the positive electrode or the negative electrode is made larger than the inner diameter of the exterior body and the positive electrode or the negative electrode is brought into close contact with the exterior body, thereby improving thermal transmission of the electrode and suppressing the temperature rise of the battery. Further, the amount of use of expensive hydrogen-storing alloy is reduced by negative electrode regulation, so that a battery price is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
