<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device capable of forming a stereoscopic image with high resolution having a wide view angle and smooth motion parallax. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device includes: a display panel 10 for displaying an element image; a display controller for making the display panel 10 display the element image; and a lens array 12 composed of a plurality of element lenses for forming a stereoscopic image by incident light of the element image displayed on the display panel 10. The element lens is formed to have a size smaller than the element image displayed on the display panel 10. With each element lens other than that arranged at the center of the lens array 12, an optical lens center is arranged at a position that is different from a geometric center in the case of a frontal view. The lens array 12 arranges a plurality of element lenses whose optical lens centers are differently positioned so as to concentrate the incident light of the element image at a predetermined position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
