In a conveyer, Fig. 1, consisting of spaced rods 6 joined at their ends by chain links 7, each link has the form shown in Fig. 4 and the conveyer rods 6 are a press-fit in bores 23 in the pivot-pins 12 of the links. Each link is an integral structure consisting of a hollow pin 12 and apertured side plates 13, 14 made of a resilient material, such as nylon or a phenolic resin, so that the side plates can be sprung apart and snapped over the hollow pin of the next link. |
