Provided is a transcranial magnetic stimulation system, which is small and inexpensive, and with which a patient can continuously and repeatedly receive transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy on a routine basis at home or at a neighborhood primary care medical facility, etc. with simple management and operation without the need for proficiency. A transcranial magnetic stimulation system (1), which has a magnetic field-generating means for generating a magnetic field to apply magnetic stimulation on a specified area of the head of a patient (M), wherein the magnetic field-generating means comprises a magnetic coil (2) that generates a dynamic magnetic field and a holder (10) that holds the magnetic coil (2). The holder (10) is provided with positioning parts (12, 14) for positioning the holder (10) with respect to marks (32, 34) provided on the head of the patient (M). The system is configured so that positioning the positioning parts (12, 14) with respect to the marks (32, 34) on the head of the patient (M) allows the coil (2) to be set with the appropriate orientation with respect to the specified area. |
