<p>The invention creates an estimate of a periodic maintenance cost minimized through cooperative maintenance of devices managed by different companies, and enables said cost to be compared to a company's individual optimum periodic maintenance cost. The cooperative maintenance cost estimate system holds a master database related to periodic maintenance work time, a performance database related to a periodic maintenance replacement part inventory quantity, and a cost conversion database for converting the work time/inventory into a work cost/maintenance management cost. On the basis of the cost conversion database, individual optimum costs when performing periodic maintenance separately for each company are computed, and a maintenance schedule is generated therefor. An overall optimum cost for all the companies as a whole is computed, and a maintenance schedule is generated therefor. The difference between the total of the individual optimum costs and the total overall optimum cost is assessed as a refund. On the basis of a refund allocation reference database, the amount of the refund for each company is computed and relief is provided to a company for which a change from individual optimization to overall optimization results in a cost increase.</p> |
