PURPOSE: A servo valve control device for controlling a hydraulic pump of a hydraulic power transmission device is provided to precisely control the discharged rate of the hydraulic pump by controlling the switching position of a servo valve with an electric motor. CONSTITUTION: A servo valve control device for controlling a hydraulic pump of a hydraulic power transmission device comprises a spool operation shaft(32), an electric motor(41), a driving gear(42), a driven gear(43), a swing arm(46), a rotation angle detecting sensor(51), a spool position detecting sensor(52), and a control part(50). The spool operation shaft is extended outward from one end of a spool(31) of a servo valve(30). The swing arm is swung by the rotation of the driven shaft to linearly reciprocate the spool operation shaft. The rotation angle detecting sensor detects the rotation angle of a driven shaft(44). The spool position detecting sensor detects the position of the spool operation shaft so that the position of the spool of the servo valve can be detected.
