<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a known fuel injector is used in a fuel-injection device, in particular, starting characteristics of an engine are disadvantageous. <P>SOLUTION: A heating device (1) comprises at least one housing component (3), and a heating element (2) at least partially embedded in the housing component (3). The heating element (2) is designed as a self-regulating heating element (2). The self-regulating heating element (2) is enclosed by the housing component (3).
