<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion method for inserting a shaft-like component held at the tip of a feed rod into a receiving hole. <P>SOLUTION: The feed rod 36 is moved forward in such an attitude that the center line Y of a shaft 3 of the shaft-like component 1 is inclined toward the center line X of the receiving hole 9. When a part of the shaft end corner 5 of the shaft-like component 1 advances into the receiving hole 9, the forward movement of the feed rod 36 is stopped. In tandem, the holding power of the feed rod 36 with respect to the shaft-like component 1 is reduced. As the holding power is reduced, the shaft-like component 1 turns and erects, and while the shaft end corner 5 rubs against an open corner 11, the center line Y of the shaft 3 is made coincident with the center line X of the receiving hole 9 to insert the shaft 3 of the shaft-like component 1 into the receiving hole 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
