PURPOSE: A falling floodgate device is provided to prevent overflow of a floodgate caused by a sudden increase of a water amount by automatically opening the floodgate when a water storage amount reaches a dangerous water level due to natural disasters. CONSTITUTION: A falling floodgate device(110) comprises a floodgate, a driving unit, and a hydraulic unit. The hydraulic unit comprises a hydraulic line(132), an accumulator(136), and an emergency valve(138). Electricity is blocked in an emergency such as blackout so that the emergency valve is operated in flood overflow. Hydraulic pressure stored in an accumulator is supplied to a moving back port of a cylinder so that the floodgate is opened. |
