PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to minimize the shaking of a rack and a lift-discharging unit to vertical and horizontal directions, thereby stably lifting the rack and the lift-discharging unit. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a lifting guide(60), a lift-discharging unit, a motor(90), a pinion, a rack(110), a left rack guide, and a right rack guide. The lifting guide is arranged on the top of an air conditioning unit. The lift-discharging unit moves upward along the lifting guide. The pinion is connected to the motor. The rack is mounted on the lift-discharging unit and engaged with the pinion. A left rib is protruded leftwards from the left side of the rack, and a right rib is protruded rightwards from the right side of the rack. The left rack guide includes a left rib guide groove unit guiding the left rib while surrounding the front, left, and right sides of the left rib. The right rack guide includes a right rib guide groove unit guiding the right rib while surrounding the front, left, and right sides of the right rib.
