<p>An air vent duct 114, preferably for a generator door 112, comprises a base 302, a pair of side walls 304, and a back plate 306 connecting the base and side walls such that air flows through a top portion of the duct. The duct may be made of plastic. A flange 312 may extend from at least one of the side walls and/or the base, to allow the duct to be mounted to a door. A plurality of ribs 310 may extend between the side wall(s) and/or base and the flange to provide stiffness to the duct. The base plate and/or side walls may be inclined. A plurality of channels 308 may be provided in the back plate to provide stiffness. A layer of foam may be provided on an inner surface, preferably within the channels, of the duct to provide sound insulation.</p> |
