[Class 20 (iii)] [Also in Group XXX] A bracket 11, Fig. 2, for door rollers includes a housing 13 for a single ball or roller bearing 19, the inner race of which has a spindle 20 secured thereto and extending laterally from one side only of the bearing and having a roller 25 fixed near the end thereof. As shown, the outer race of bearing 19 is held between oil sealing rings 17, 18 by screw cap 16 and the inner race of the bearing is secured to spindle 20 by screw 22. The bracket 11, Fig. 2, on door 10 is formed with two such rollers 25 running in track rails 28 secured to the wall and so arranged that one roller contacts the upper flange 30 of the rails and the other roller contacts the lower flange 27 of the rails, the tyres on the rollers being in compression. A tie bar 31 may secure together two such brackets on one door. The tyres may be so shaped as to be " selfaligning " in the rails. |
