<p>The device has a transmitter (6) arranged in a horizontal boundary region of an aperture to be monitored, where the aperture is partially closed by a door panel (4). A set of receivers of a receiving strip (8) is arranged in a horizontally opposite bound region in distributed fashion along the aperture, where the receivers have mounting thickness of less than 5 mm. The transmitter together with each receiver forms a light barrier arrangement, which is evaluated by electronic evaluation beams.</p> |
