<p>A mobile load transport apparatus 10 comprising a chassis 12, a load support structure 16 pivotably coupled to the chassis 12. An actuator 20 for actuating the load support structure 16 between a loading/unloading state and a transport state (Figure 2) . In the loading/unloading state the load support structure 16 adopts a relatively upright position with respect to the chassis 12 and in the transport state the load support structure 16 adopts a relatively reclined position with respect to the chassis 12. At least one stabilising device 22 may be provided and is operable into and out of a deployed state in which it projects from the chassis 12 and engages with a ground surface. The stabilising device(s) 22 may be longitudinally extendable and may include an extendable / retractable foot 24 foe engaging the ground. Preferably the actuator 20 is powered and may be operated via a hydraulic system which may involve a manual hydraulic pump.</p> |
