METHOD OF MANAGING TRANSFERS OF DATA BY AN INTERFACE OF BLUETOOTH TYPE

The method involves encoding digital data into an audio format, and transmitting the digital data by an audio channel (5) of a Bluetoothinterface for exchanging the digital data between a peripheral e.g. smart card reader (7), and a computing equipment e.g. smartphone (1). Bits of signal corresponding to audio data are transmitted over frequency band. Bits of signal corresponding to non-audio data are transmitted over another frequency band. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computing equipment comprising an encoding and decoding unit (2) a peripheral comprising a processing unit (3) a combine equipment comprising a processing unit.
