<p>The present invention relates to a trunk trimming device with which standing, growing trees can be mechanically trimmed. By means of a telescopic unit, the device pushes up the trimming knives (14, 15, 16) along the tree trunk and trims the tree to a desired height. The device may also be used for thinning and handling the felled timber as with conventional harvesting equipment. The trimming device is advantageously arranged in a smaller forestry machine.</p> |
