<p>The sizing device (1) has two opposite-lying glue rollers (3) rolling on an outer surface (9) of book blocks (8) perpendicularly moving on a saddle plate (16) of a revolving conveyor. The glue rollers are driven in opposite directions, where a book block has a recess (5) formed by an axially parallel shoulder (7) for gluing in a fold region (10). The glue rollers are made of resilient, non-absorbent material on the circumference of a layer (12) of certain thickness. The shoulder and an area (13) adjacent to the shoulder are formed by hard surfaces.</p> |
