A method of validating minimization of drive tests, hereafter called MDT, measurement configurations for a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes registering to a first public land mobile network, and maintaining MDT measurement configuration when the UE registers to a second public land mobile network belonging to the same operator as the first public land mobile network, or the UE is in coverage of the first public land mobile network but registering to no public land mobile network.
Further methods relate to the validation or invalidation of MDT measurement configurations based on detach procedures. |
