The device has a temperature regulator (40) comprising a movable contact (44) that is connected with a fixed contact (42). The movable contact conducts electric current to a terminal (60) when temperature of a cooking vessel reaches a predetermined value. The terminal and another terminal (70) are brought into an on state when the temperature reaches the predetermined value and when the movable contact conducts electric current to the latter terminal during power supply of the cooking device. The movable contact is connected to the terminals. The cooking device comprises an LED lamp.
