A perforated platform 1 wherein the platform is arranged to be maintained in an elevated position within a tubular container 2. The container 2 may have a lid 3 and a resiliently deformable seal may be provided. The platform 1 may have cylindrical and hemispherical elements. Legs may be provided as part of the platform 1. The platform 1 may be fixed to the container 2 or fixed to the lid 3 of the container 2. The container 2 may have a lid 3 at both ends. The device is arranged to that when positioned a first way up bait held in the platform 1can be submerged but when inverted the water will move to the other end of the platform 1 leaving the bait out of the water to provide easy access.
