METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A THERMALLY INSULATED FLEXIBLE TUBE

In order to produce a flexible and elastic thermally insulated tube with a stable quality, by means of preventing a premature foaming response of the thermally insulating material, ensuring stability of the foaming process and controllability of said process, an outer protective tubular casing is extruded coaxially to the working tube by means of an extrusion head with an angular flow of polymeric materials and is shaped in the form of a helical surface, while a foaming material is fed into the inner cavity between the outer protective tubular casing and the working tube, said foaming material forming a layer of thermal insulation between the outer protective tubular casing and the working tube, wherein the temperature of the foaming thermally insulating material is maintained by means of a conditioning system which cools the channels of the device for feeding and mixing the foaming thermally insulating materials and at the same time acts as an element for positioning said channels.
