The coupling device (10) has a torque-proof drive shaft (24) and a torque-proof driven shaft (16). A mechanical friction clutch (26) is arranged between the drive shaft and driven shaft. An operating element (34) is used as an expansion material actuator for switching the mechanical friction clutch in coupling state or uncoupling state.
