摘要 <p>The invention relates to a device for measuring the humidity of sawdust in continuous flow, which uses an apparatus for measuring the relative humidity of the air in the aerated sawdust mass, the device being used within the technological lines for drying the sawdust in order to automatically adjust the drying process and to maintain the sawdust discharged from the drier at an optimal humidity level for the compression operation which usually follows to the drying, the device being able to determine the humidity of the sawdust within the range of 8...18% if the sawdust is compressed into briquettes, but it also determines with good precision humidities of up to 30...40 %. According to the invention, the device comprises a parallelepipedal tube () made of metal plate which is interposed by the welded frames () between the opening for removing the sawdust from the dryer and the opening for discharging the same onto the conveyer belt towards the hopper, a capacitive humidity sensor () and gravitationally-actuated sawdust separator () are mounted in the tube () which is fixed on the side wall of the tube () through a central shaft () and a bearing (), a counterweight rod () being eccentrically fixed on the shaft of the sawdust separator (), the counterweight rod swinging by an angle of 60° between the two stoppers (), the separator () having, at its centre, three chambers confined by blades () and disks ().</p>
