<p>The invention relates to a safety device preventing the superposition of railway vehicles endowed with lateral buffers, in case of accidental collision at high speeds. According to the invention, the said device consists of two paws (), fastened by means of some hinges () to some plates (), which, in their turn, are fastened, dismountably or not, to an exterior pipe () of a crash buffer (), between the paws () and plates () there being a torsion spring which tends to rotate the two paws () towards a tray () of the buffer (), said rotation being prevented, in case of normal operation, namely when the buffer () is subjected only to elastic deformation by a blocking system () which is unblocked only after the plastic deformation of the buffer () starts.</p> |
