An improved coupling element for bar-shaped inverted T profiles (6), characterised by consisting of a rectangular plate (2) formed from two portions of different height, a first portion (10) engagable with the end of the rib of the T profile and extending into a second portion (12) of lesser height, said second portion being bent to V shape to form an elastic spring with the bent tab (14) of lesser height than the second portion, said first portion comprising a tooth (18) obtained by cutting and plastic deformation, said bent tab being shaped as a step (20) for elastic under-engagement with the edge of a central aperture (24) provided in the rib of a T profile perpendicular to it, said tooth cooperating with the corresponding tooth of another coupling element of a second T profile applied from the other side of the aperture (24). |
