PURPOSE: A fermented rice extract with anti-aging efficiency and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided to enhance collagen biosynthesis and to suppress skin aging. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing fermented rice extract comprises a step of inoculating Bacillus licheniformis to brown rice and fermenting; a step of performing thermal treatment at 100°C for 10-20 minutes for activating enzyme; a step of spray-drying. A cosmetic composition for enhancing collagen biosynthesis and suppressing skin aging contains the extract as an active ingredient.
