The invention relates to a propeller arrangement (1) for a sailing boat comprising: - a lateral-propeller unit (10), which comprises a motor and a propeller driven by the motor; and a holder element (30) which carries the lateral-propeller unit (10), this holder element (30) consisting of a stern ladder which is intended to be attached to the transom of a sailing boat and which comprises two elongated and mutually parallel side pieces (33, 34), which are arranged at a distance from each other, and several mutually parallel rungs (35) distributed in the longitudinal direction of the stern ladder, which rungs extend between the two side pieces (33, 34) and are attached to these side pieces.
