PURPOSE: An access point, an operation method of the access point, a display device, and an access point connecting method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily connect the display device to the access point. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(210) controls an access point in order to be operated as a plurality of identifiers. The control unit controls a display device and the setup of an initial channel by using a hidden identifier of the identifiers. The control unit controls the authentication of the display device by using information received through the set initial channel. A connecting unit(220) transmits authentication information encrypted through the initial channel in the authenticated device.
