PURPOSE: A road traverse excavator is provided to minimize the vibration and noise and to improve the workability by constructing an outer pipe for pipe connection while transversely excavating a road. CONSTITUTION: A road traverse excavator(100) comprises a base plate(110), a guide rod(111), a carriage(120), a driving cylinder(130), and a driving pulley(161). The driving pulley(163) comprises a decelerating motor(164), an excavating pipe(140), a drill(150), a supporting plate(112), and a fixing device(170). The excavating pipe has a hollow pipe shape of which both ends form a first flange joint and a second flange joint, and includes a spiral soil discharge inducing plate in the outer periphery. The drill is connected to the second flange joint of the excavating pipe and includes an excavating blade to excavate the ground. The excavating pipe connecting the drill to a top end is mounted on the carriage, and the carriage is transferred in a traverse excavating direction for transversely excavating a road. |
