CHARACTERISTIC MEASURING DEVICE FOR SOLAR CELL

A solar cell characteristic measuring device measures the output characteristics of a solar cell precisely while avoiding the influences of the junction capacitance of the solar cell. The device comprises a load circuit connecting the solar cell with an electronic load device, a measuring circuit, an operation point control means and a processing means. The operation point control means applies an operation instruction to the electronic load device at a predetermined period, whose time width is longer than a time period from application of a load to the solar cell till stabilization of the output voltage or current thereof. The processing means reads the detected voltage or current values after the output voltage or current of the solar cell is stabilized. The operation point control means suspends the operation instruction immediately after the reading operation till a next operation instruction is given to stop the electronic load device.
