<p>Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent element of which the decrease in efficiency during high brightness driving is low, and the initial drop in driving durability is low. The organic electroluminescent element has, on a substrate: a pair of electrodes comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a light-emitting layer between said electrodes; at least one organic layer between said light-emitting layer and said positive electrode; and at least one organic layer between said light emitting layer and said negative electrode. At least one compound, for example the compound represented by the belowmentioned a-3, is contained in the at least one organic layer between said light-emitting layer and said negative electrode, and at least one compound, for example the compound represented by h-1, is contained in the at least one organic layer between said light-emitting layer and said positive electrode.</p> |
