A composition comprises a rubbery copolymer of ethylene and propylene and a resinous copolymer of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon with an ester of acrylic acid, e.g. a styrene/2-ethylhexyl acrylate copolymer. Both copolymers may comprise small amounts of other monomers. In examples compositions according to the invention are cured using ingredients selected from dicumyl peroxide, sulphur, p-quinone dioxime, red lead, silica, and carbon black. The products find application as electrical insulation, flooring, shoe soles and gaskets. |
