摘要 PURPOSE: A proximity-sensing method and a device for the same are provided to enable to apply to all fields where proximity-sensing an object is necessary and to enhance the accuracy of the proximity-sensing, thereby improving the reliability. CONSTITUTION: A proximity-sensing method is as follows. A light source is ON/OFF controlled during a preset first ON period and a preset first OFF period(S310). The intensity of lights received by a proximity sensor during first ON and OFF periods is detected(S320). A first value corresponding to a difference of the intensity of the lights, which are detected during the first ON and OFF periods, is calculated(S330). The light source is ON/OFF controlled during a preset second ON period and a preset second OFF period(S340). The intensity of lights received by a proximity sensor during second ON and OFF periods is detected(S350). A second value corresponding to a difference of the intensity of the lights, which are detected during the second ON and OFF periods, is calculated(S360). The existence of the proximity of an object is determined based on a ratio of the first and second values(S370).
