PURPOSE: A multi-function switch assembly for a vehicle and an assembly method are provided to improve assembly strength and to reduce assembly time by assembling a sub knob and a connection link which slides from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A multi-function switch assembly(1) for a vehicle comprises lever bodies(10,20) and a connection link(40). The lever body is rotatably installed to one side of a steering handle in order to vertically rotate and move back and forth. The connection link mediates connection of the lever body with respect to a column housing. The lever body comprises an upper main body(10), a lower main body(20), a main knob holder, and a sub knob holder(50). The lower main body is connected to a lower part of the upper main body, forms an inner space between the main bodies, and forms a first mounting hole and a second mounting hole. The main knob holder is installed in the inner space. The sub knob holder is mounted in the inner space through the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole and comprises a first member for preventing a gap which prevents a gap of the upper main body and the lower main body. |
