PURPOSE: A camera transfer control device for a vehicle and a camera position control method are provided to control operation of a camera by sensing the correct position of the camera and to obtain a rear view of the vehicle at all positions. CONSTITUTION: A camera transfer control device for a vehicle comprises a camera(10), a camera holder(100), a driving unit(200), a sensor, and a control unit. The camera is fixed to a front side of the camera holder. The camera holder reciprocates in a fixed section and comprises a driving protrusion. The driving unit operates the camera holder in order to reciprocate in the constant section by holding the driving protrusion. The sensor is adjacent to the driving unit and senses the position of the driving protrusion in the fixed section. The control unit controls operation of the driving unit according to position information of the driving protrusion. |
