<p>The invention relates to a process and an installation for soil decontamination. According to the invention, the process consists in pretreating the soils to be decontaminated by breaking and screening, drying at about 100°C, screening again, heating to about 450°C, evaporating the gaseous phase by vacuum extraction, separating the entrained particles, cooling down to 120°C, condensing the volatile substances by cooling down to 80...90°C in a condenser and then cooling down to 20°C while separating hazardous organic compounds, the resulting suspension being filtered and the solid being collected, the liquid phase being recycled after purification while the gaseous phase is chemically purified and subjected to absorption on active carbon, so as to be already decontaminated upon leaving installation. The claimed installation comprises a pretreatment container module (), a heating module (), a conveyor belt () leading the material to the module () for the extraction of the gaseous phase, a gaseous phase treating module (), a water decontamination module () and a module () for preparing the cooling water used in the technological process.</p> |
