PURPOSE: A shell exchange apparatus for a center rest of a lathe is provided to directly place a shell on a placing part of a trailer in a crane and to transfer the shell to the upper lateral side of a quill by pushing the trailer. CONSTITUTION: A shell exchange apparatus for a center rest of a lathe comprises multiple rollers(20), a trailer(30), and a placing part(40). The multiple rollers are horizontally installed in one side of a center rest of a lathe(10) in at least two stages. The trailer is fitted in the multiple rollers and moves along a horizontal direction. The placing part is installed on the top of the trailer. |
