PURPOSE: A wire connecting device for a high voltage connector is provided to prevent a shield line from heading for a terminal by exactly placing the shield line in the opposite direction to the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A support ring(32) surrounds the outer surface of an external insulating layer(28) without a predetermined section in order to expose an inner insulating layer(24) to a front end of a wire(20). A crimp ring(34) surrounds the outer surface of the support ring. A ring body including the support ring forms a frame of the crimp ring. A front end of a shield line(26) is placed in the support ring. A clamping end(36) smaller than parts of the ring body is included in the front end of the ring body.
