PURPOSE: A portable gas torch is provided to gradually control ignition lever operation of the gas torch through a safety button and to improve convenience by easily performing the operation. CONSTITUTION: A portable gas torch comprises a main body unit(10), a valve body(20), a push lever(30), and a safety device(40). The front side of the main body unit comprises a vaporizer(12) including a nozzle(11). The rear side of the main body comprises a control valve(14) controlling gas supply through a gas container(70) coupled with an adapter(13) in a lower part. A lever installation hole(16) is formed in the front side. The valve body is located to an upper part of the adapter from inner side of the main body unit. The push lever is coupled with the lever installation hole and slide-moves to inner side and is formed to pressurize a spindle(23) and an ignition member(21). The safety device gradually controls operation of the push lever and the ignition member inside the main body unit.
