摘要 PURPOSE: A digital image signal processing apparatus for a high speed camera and a method thereof are provided to transmit a high speed image signal in real time using multiple MPEG2 encoders and multiple MPEG2 decoders in order to transmit image information collected from the high speed digital image of high capacity over 30FPS stably and remotely. CONSTITUTION: The image transmitting unit of a digital image signal processing apparatus collects a digital image signal from the frame buffer of a connected high speed image camera. The image transmitting unit performs a frame reconstruction for the collected image signal, and the frames of a streamed image signal are divided into a plurality(S10). The image signal divided into a plurality is encoded according to an ITU-R 656 standard which is a digital image signal protocol. In other words, the image transmitting unit divides the digital image signal of the high speed camera into multiple groups which are treatable according to a transmission standard. The image signals divided according to the ITU-R 656 are compressed by using multiple MPEG2 encoders respectively(S20). The image transmitting unit encodes and multiplexes the compressed image signals while maintaining each inherent image frame information(S30). The multiplexed and encoded image signal is modulated into a RF signal and transmitted to the image receiving unit of the digital image signal processing apparatus. The image receiving unit receives the image signal of the high speed camera which is modulate into a RF signal through an antenna(S40). The image receiving unit transmits the outputted image signal to one or more signal demodulators through multiple channels(S50). The image receiving unit de-multiplexes and decodes the demodulated image signal(S60). Thereafter, the image receiving unit releases the compressed demodulated image signal using multiple MPEF decoders. In this way, the compression-released image signal is RTP-converted for a real time display(S80).
