PURPOSE: A radar communication system having an LED communication function and a dangerous vessel judgment method of a radar communication system are provided to secure sight of a vessel under a bad climate condition. CONSTITUTION: A radar communication system(100) includes a radar unit(110) and an LED communication unit(120). The radar unit detects a dangerous object inside of a CPA(Closest Point of Approach), generates target information and determines whether LED communication with the dangerous object is necessary or not. If the radar unit decides that the LED communication with the dangerous object is necessary, the LED communication unit communicates with the dangerous object through the LED mode and receives data from the dangerous object. The LED communication unit judges whether the vessel is dangerous or not by comparing the target information and a demodulated photodiode signal generated from the received data.
