PURPOSE: An operation guidance method of automatic defibrillator is provided to manufacture electrode pad of simple structure with measuring impedance of electrode pad using impedance measuring circuit in which an automatic defibrillator is built. CONSTITUTION: An operation guidance method of automatic defibrillator using impedance measure of electrode pad comprises following steps. Impedance of electrode pad is measured. Determine as the electrode pad is not connected to automatic defibrillator if impedance measurement value is 200ohms or greater and show to user through video processing apparatus or audio output device. Guide user to attach electrode pad to patient's body through video processing apparatus or audio output device it impedance measurement value is less than 15ohms. Determine that electrode pad is ordinarily attached to patient body if impedance measurement value is over 15ohms and less than 200ohms.
