PURPOSE: A device for reporting the arrangement information of a mobile communication device and a method thereof are provided to report the location information of the mobile communication device by using a normal response. CONSTITUTION: A controller module(112) receives an arrangement information request which displays a plurality of desired arrangement information elements from a service network through a wireless module. The controller module determines whether the desired arrangement information elements are supported. The controller module transmits an arrangement information response to the service network through the wireless module in response to the support of the desired arrangement information elements. The arrangement information response includes arrangement information elements which are not supported for the arrangement information response.
