PURPOSE: A history management system of a vessel member and a method thereof are provided to register and manage a modification related to nesting work, thereby preventing generation of design malfunction and production malfunction. CONSTITUTION: A nesting work support database(110) stores drawing for vessel design and member design information. An integrated member management control unit(120) provides inquiry, modification, arrangement, and management functions of the member design information. Member change information for each drawing is stored in a member history management table(140) for a long time. A member change history management unit(130) includes a member change design support unit(131) and a nesting work contact support unit(132).
