ANCHORING SUTURE

PURPOSE: An anchoring suture is provided to reduce operation time by forming an end of a barb with a cobra shape to prevent the anchoring suture from sliding. CONSTITUTION: A barb(12) is formed around the surface of a suture(10). A proximal end of the suture is inclined. The barb maintains tension over 50%. The barb is formed with a cobra shape. A distal end of the suture is composed of a loop(30).
